Ricky Mitchell (AKA Zayd Shākir) has publicly pontificated/claimed that the Day-Of-`Arafah as well as `Īd-ul-Adhā/Celebration-Of-Sacrifice have nothing to do with each other, nor is `Arafah connected with al-Hajj/Pilgrimage, because `Īd-al-Adhā was established prior to the Conquest-Of-Makkah.
This is 💯%-Untruth/Dishonesty:
a. Prior to the Conquest-Of-Makkah the Muslims relative to the Revelation of The Qur’ān didn’t/never have Control over Makkah nor how al-Hajj was maintained…the Pagan-Arabs had Control over that.
b. The Day-Of-`Arafah as well as
`Īd-ul-Adhā/Celebration-Of-Sacrifice are both equally Part of al-Hajj.
The Revelatory-Textual Proof of this is due to the Fact that:
a. Muhammad (Peace be upon them) stated that “al-Hajj is `Arafah”. This undoubtedly establishes the Fact that `Arafah is Part of the Manāsik/Rites of al-Hajj.
b. The Hujjāj/Pilgrims are Islāmically recquired to do al-Hadīy/Animal-Sacrifice, as Part of the Manāsik of al-Hajj. Of course, the KSA/Saudi-Government, for Decades, bureaucratically handles the Hadīy of the Hujjāj.
This also disproves the Claim that the Hujjāj don’t celebrate `Īd-al-Adhā.
Since it’s a Known-Fact that KSA/Saudi Arabia throws their Religio-Political Weight around, regarding the Scheduling of al-Hajj/Pilgrimage-Naturally there’s Countless-Muslims across the Muslim-World (via Muslim&Non-Muslim-Countries) whom attempt to somehow/someway “Boycott” KSA which literally never works-out well anyway/anyhow. Besides, regardless of what anyone thinks/how anyone feels about KSA: if you want to make Hajj you’re going to fall In-Line via KSA Hajj-Scheduling regardless. With this being said: over Several-Decades, there’s been an Established Pseudo-Opinion which Certain-Muslims have adopted in the Name of Fake-Wokeness, that there’s a “Local-Sighting” for `Īd-il-Adhā. I’m here to definitively state the Obvious: that’s a Notion which is All-Caps on a Keyboard.
