Gareth Bryant, a native New Yorker, became a Muslim at the age of 15 in 1417 A.H./1996 C.E. He went to Touro College, from 2003-2007, majoring in Political-Science. He has been a community member of the Islamic Center @NYU from 2007-Present. He is the Co-Founder of Da`wah Unlimited Alliance (D.U.A.), a Brooklyn-based non-profit organization which started in 2000 C.E./1421 A.H. committed to properly educating the general public about Islam & Muslims, Member of Muslims Giving Back: a Muslim non-profit, dedicated to ending Hunger within the United States, which began in 2012. He has served as an Executive-Member of Young Muslims USA, a national non-profit youth organization started in 1995 C.E. for young Muslim youth, and at present is a Young Muslims Alumnus, as well as a regular Blood-Donor for the New York Blood Center, since 2007. Gareth has been an Islamic-Studies & Arabic instructor, at Islamic Learning Foundation (ILF), in Queens, NY. Gareth Bryant has studied Islamic-Studies & the Arabic-Language under Siraj Wahhaj (current Amir of Muslim Alliance of North America [MANA]) from 2000-2006, Usul-ul-Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Legal-Analysis) under Shakiel Humayun (Founder/Executive-Director Foundation for Knowledge and Development [FKAD]), Sirah (Biography of Prophet Muhammad) & Mustalah-ul-Hadith (The Rating of Prophetic-Statements), under Abdul-Rahman Khan (current Executive-Member of the Fiqh Council of North America), and has been an online student of Bilal Philips (Founder/Executive-Director of Islamic Online University [IOU]). Gareth Bryant is a CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education) Graduate of the CPSP (College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy).
