It’s okay to be Non-Sectarian: The Muslim’s guide to stay Sect-free

Standard

Author’s note:
This particular article is exclusively based upon a discussion which I had with one of my Facebook followers. They had asked me a very fair & valid question, in regards to my religious-identity. They had asked me, “Why are you a Non-Sectarian Muslim?”. This term, that I very often refer to myself as, I’m sure, is something which was unfamiliar to this particular individual, as it is just as unfamiliar to many, if not most Muslims, globally, even though, in practicality, the vast majority of Muslims, regardless of their upbringing, are in fact Non-Sectarian, relative to their everyday-lives, as Muslims, without even realizing it. I decided to answer their question as honestly as Humanly possible, without concealing my general disdain for Sectarianism overall, and the following below is what my response to them was.

I consciously choose to be a Non-Sectarian Muslim, because of the Hadith/Prophetic-Statement of Muhammad (Peace be upon him), when he had drawn a line in the sand, among his Companions (May Allah be pleased with them), and said to them that this line is the as-Sirat-ul-Mustaqim/the Straight-Path. He then drew branched-off lines, like branches springing from a tree. He then stated that each branch has a Shaytan/Devil upon each of these diverted paths, springing off of the initial-line which Muhammad had drawn in the sand, calling people to misguidance.(ibn-Majah, Ahmad, al-Bazzar)

Primarily, anyone whom is calling you to individuals & ideologies, as opposed to calling you to Allah, His Messenger and knowledge+action, then this person/these people are to stay away from, as much as Humanly possible. Ironically, all Firaq/Sectarian-Groups have the (universal) pathological habit of giving themselves away, to those whom they are calling to, to join them, by doing exactly what I’ve already said, which is calling people to ideologies, as opposed to Allah, His Messenger, and knowledge+action.

I’ll give some examples of Muslim-Sects:

1. The Salafis-
Being a former Salafi, I have a pretty well-grounded, in-depth knowledge about how these people actually work, and my criticism about them is very fair & honest: The Salafis often attempt to monopolize the fellowship of as-Salaf (the 3-generations of Muslims after Muhammad [Peace be upon him]: as-Sahabah/the Companions [May Allah be pleased with them all-together], and generations 1 & 2 of at-Tabi`in/the Followers [of as-Sahabah]). Meaning, they basically claim that they are the only true religious-inheritors of as-Salaf, in both word & deed. Also, they specifically claim to be those included within al-Firqat-in-Najiyah/the Saved-Group (those whom are referred to as the only group of Muslims whom will be safe to never have to engage the Fire at all in the Hereafter). These claims of theirs are not only inaccurate & unfounded, but also very religiously-pompous & religiously-dangerous. These claims have caused many, if not most Salafis, to adopt a very negative, arrogant, entitled, religious-posture towards other Muslims, as though the Salafis are the most-elite among the Muslims, as though the Salafis some type of religious special-forces.

2. The Sufis-
I’ve had, historically & contemporaneously, significant contact & discourse with Sufis, from various persuasions & backgrounds. Their angle is basically this: Sufis very often attempt to monopolize upon Tassawuf (Spirituality/Spiritualism). Meaning, they largely claim that they possess the keys to “Spiritual-Islam”, where ironically, there’s really no such thing as “Spiritual-Islam”, because, Spirituality is an automatic/default element of Islam, that’s always existed within Islam. And, their call, I think is very unique & evasive, as opposed to the Salafis, or Shi`is (I’ll get to the Shi`is, don’t worry): they largely, almost exclusively, use tell-tale terms, to people, which won’t necessarily seem red-flagish. These terms are: “Teacher” as well as “Shaykh” (“Teacher” & “Shaykh” are always used interchangeably among Sufis). Very often, people whom are of a Sufi persuasion/orientation attempt to convince people that they need a “Teacher” for this or a “Shaykh” for that. And, this often sounds really good, to have a constant instructor to help you find your religious-way. The problem is that this is just one of many steps towards delving deeper into a sect, like any other sect out there.(For more info. about Spirituality, look here:https://garethbryant.wordpress.com/2011/12/04/mythoughtsonspiritualityvsreligiosity)

3. The Shi`is-
The Shi`is are perhaps the most outgoing, among these other groups whom I’ve mentioned, especially in light of what they mainly call to…yes…you’ve guessed it…they claim to monopolize the respect & love that all Muslims must, by default, have for Ahl-il-Bayt/the People of the House (the Muslim family-members & of Muhammad [Peace be upon him]). That sounds just-great, except with one major problem (among many other problems with Shi`is, but we’ll just focus upon this particular problem): Shi`is, largely, only consider the maternal-descendants of Muhammad (Peace be upon him) to be of Ahl-il-Bayt, which is very problematic, and has (both historically & contemporaneously) caused immense strife between the greater Sunni & Shi`i factions of our Ummah/Community.(For more info. concerning Ahl-il-Bayt, look here: https://garethbryant.wordpress.com/2012/11/04/theperfectsolutiontothewholeahlulbaytissue)

4. The Kharijis-
Better known as al-Khawarij/the Departers, these people have been held responsible for the deaths of `Uthman, `Ali, several other Companions (May Allah be pleased with them all-together), as well as other righteous Muslims, innocents generally, several political/military usurpations, upheavals, revolutions, terrorism, and the list goes on & on. At present, very few, if anyone would overtly refer to themselves as the Khawarij, simply out of fear of ostracization. However, there are several splinter-groups, which have adopted, either from their inceptions or later on in their evolutions as groups, the ideology of the Kharijis, which is “Restoration of the Khilafah”: this is their battle-cry, even though as a group/entity, ironically, they are the ones, among the Muslims, anyway, whom have largely contributed to the destruction of geo-political stability even when the Khilafah was established, and even in modern times (particularly post-WWII) have completely contributed to the Muslims’ disdain for even attempting to establish the Khialafah anywhere, because the vast majority of Muslims, especially now would much rather live under the conditions which they now face, then to have people like the Kharijis in any type of real governmental power/authority.

Unlike most typical Salafis, Sufis or Shi`is, most, if not all Kharijis will not be forthright and just say “Salam…hey, I’m a Khariji!!!”. However, there are some significant, modern, groups whom have amassed a particularly significant following within the past 2-decades, namely al-Muhaajiroon (originally starting in the U.K. & spreading to the U.S. during the 1990’s & fell apart shortly before/after 9/11), Revolution-Muslims, and Islamic-Thinkers’ Society. Now, with RM & ITS, they’re basically the exact same organizations, except with a different hierarchy of leadership & fellowship; but, in practicality, they’re both under one. With the exception of the Salafi-Movement, which in all-fairness has really only been in existence for less than a century, and other historical sectarian-groups (with their own separate roots, whom have died out and/or have had their ideologies absorbed into other sectarian-groups), basically, any/most other sectarian-groups, historically/contemporarily, would largely have either Sufi, Shi`i, or Khariji roots.

One of the other reasons as to why I so choose to not follow any sectarian-groups is the simple fact that none of these groups or individuals calling to these groups will have any say as to who goes to either the Paradise or the Fire. And, even on Yawm-il-Qiyamah/the Day of Standing, Allah describes it as a day when a person will abandon his own siblings, parents, spouses & children.(Noble Qur’an: Chpt.80, V.34-36) Now, just based upon Human-Nature, these 4-types of persons: siblings, parents, spouses, children…literally, in this order, are generally, universally, recognized as the closest people to any Human being, under normal, harmonious, circumstances.

So, if someone, regardless to what knowledge that they have, or what sect that they’re calling to, will abandon me on the day that matters most, then , I, as an individual, deem it, within my best-interest, necessary to abandon them/these sectarian-groups here in the Mundane, so that I won’t be heart-broken, as to when they won’t be in my corner in the Hereafter. And, by virtue of all that I’ve mentioned, regarding not adhering to any sectarian-groups, I choose to not risk treading upon the path that can/will lead me astray.

Author’s note:

Mustapha Ndanusa, Esq. is an Attorney, practicing in NYC, where he grew-up. He’s very well-versed in social-issues plaguing the Muslim, minority, and immigrant communities, all across the United States. As a result of 9/11, there have been multiple cases of individuals, both Muslim & Non-Muslim alike, whom have been killed, deported, detained, etc. & all based upon baseless pretences, exclusively conjured by the whimsical policies/agendas of the U.S. government, with the direct assistance of local, state and Federal Law-Enforcement agencies & departments. What Mustapha has written about is how to look for potential governmental red-flag, entrapping tactics, which we all need to be intelligently aware of.

Not long ago, before President Obama had him killed, Anwar Al-Awlaki was the darling of fear-mongers. Videos of him defiant against the US and US interest were played often at the height of the Awlaki hysteria. I waited anxiously for the elephant in the room to ultimately be discussed by Fox News and other even more supposedly liberal news outlets. But it never happened. The elephant went undiscussed, and now I think it was because the world simply did not know, is that Anwar Awlaki was very very popular in the Muslim households with his series on the Lives of the Prophets, the Life of the Prophets and many others.

It is unlikely, even today, that you can ask three Muslims about Awlaki’s audio classes and not find one that possesses a copy in his/her home – or at least did so at one point. I still have cassettes of his series. I mentioned Anwar Al Awlaki’s series because if one was tested with being charged with terrorism charges, no matter how minor, better pray to God that you don’t still have a dust covered copy of any Anwar Awlaki contraband in your closet.  If you do, be sure that you will be found guilty, or at least your chances of being found guilty is increased significantly.

If you doubt what I have just said about your changes of  being “gitmoed,” consider the evidentiary value of something so innocuous as “Bulugh Al-Maram” or “Riyadus Saalihin”. Bulugh Al-Maram, a book well known in the Muslim world, is a collection of Ahaadith (sing. Hadith) on Fiqh/Islamic-Jurisprudence. Another book, Riyadus Saalihin, gives samplings of Islamic beliefs, drawing from selections of Ahaadith and Quranic-verses. Having either one of these books, particularly the latter, might be dangerous contraband used to confirm a mind bent on destruction.  Contained in Riyadus Saalihin is the book of Jihad and several Ahaadith exclaiming the virtues of archery, horse riding and other acts.

In 2007, Dr. Rafeeq Sabir was convicted providing material support to terrorists. While there were many other things that were used to convict Dr. Sabir, one piece of evidence was his possession of one of the two books mentioned above.  In particular, one of the books, more than likely Riyadus Saalihin, contained passages encouraging the riding of horses and the practice of archery – the passages having been highlighted by Dr. Sabir himself. As fate would have it, Dr. Sabir owned a cross-bow and had learned to ride horse while in Saudi Arabia. Well, there you have it, if you legally own a cross-bow and dare learn to ride a horse and you are a Muslim, you are likely a terrorist in training or a terrorist already. So, what should one do?

There is no law that says you cannot own a copy of either of these two great books or that if you bought a copy of Mein Kampf you are a Nazi waiting to be awoken. One should not be worried about buying such books.  However, be smart, read the book and for God’s sake, don’t highlight anything.

Literary Legal-Advice & Awareness: What you read may get you locked-up!!!

Words that have been hijacked in our “Modern-Society”:

Standard

The whole reason for this post is to highlight how powerful language is, whether it is used for positive or negative. My intent is to simply mention a few words, with are originally,  inherently, positive/neutral. But, tragically, these words have been hijacked by persons, groups, governments, media, etc., to project specific agendas. What I intend to do is just to simply empower the public, to take back language, and to not allow others to define language for us, to not allow persons or groups to manipulate language for their own motives.

Here are some of the words I’m referring to, which have been hijacked:

Science-

Science is a beautiful tool, used to discover & define the elements of the Universe, within our limited scope. However, Atheists/Anti-Theists have hijacked Science to promote their agenda, to spread Atheism/Anti-Theism, based upon pretences which really have nothing to do with anything Scientific. They claim that those whom are Theists have very limited, to no true knowledge of Science, yet, when it comes to what they call “proving” that a divine-creator doesn’t exist, they look to Science to promote this baseless-claim. They claim that Theists only use “Faith/Belief”, not empirical-evidence, to come to the conclusion that a divine-creator exists. Yet, ironically, when called to task, to also use “empirical-evidence”, to prove the opposite-view, they aren’t able to disprove the existence of a divine-creator. And, without the use of revelation/revealed-texts, both Theist & Atheists/Anti-Theists are at a 50/50 stalemate, when it comes to either proving or disproving the existence of a divine-creator.

Faith-

Directly piggy-backing upon what has been previously mentioned, Atheists/Anti-Theists manipulate the term “Faith” as the following: to have conviction or belief in something that is no provable via empirical-evidence. This manipulative, deceptive, definition of “Faith” is staple among Atheists/Anti-Theists, against those of a Theistic persuasion. However, ironically, when it comes to the opposite-view, which is obviously the disbelief in the existence of any divine-creator/god of the Universe, they actually do the same thing as the spin on the meaning of “Faith” that they’ve conjured up against Theist: they (Atheist/Anti-Theists) have conviction that no divine-creator/god really exist; yet, they, themselves cannot prove the non-existence of a divine-creator/god, through the usage of empirical-evidence. The non-existence of a divine-creator/god is something that they exclusively believe in, they cannot definitely say that they know a divine-creator/god doesn’t exist, it’s their belief, by definition/extension, it’s their “Faith”, if you will.

Terrorist-

The true meaning of this word is someone whom inflicts fear upon someone, through various means. Now, throughout history, including the history of colonization, particularly/especially the colonization of the New-World & founding of the United States, the term terrorist, if you objectively research the amount of carnage inflicted upon the Natives of the Western-Hemisphere, the severe ill-treatment of Africans, brought from Africa, as slave-laborers, the formation of American Organized-Crime, all individuals involved in the fruition of these happenings & events should, by mere definition, be labeled as terrorists, but they’re not. People like Christopher Colombus, the Pizarro bros., Hernando Cortez, Ponce de Leon, etc. are etched in the annals of written (European/American) history as discoverers or explorers, when in fact they were nothing more than murderers, pillagers looters, rapists, and exploiters. Yet, ironically, you’ll never hear their names in the same category as persons such as Osama Bin-Laden.

Gay-

Originally meaning joyful, this term has been stolen by the Homosexual-Community, projecting to the public that the lifestyle they lead gives them bliss, where in fact, they are among the most depressed, substance-abusing, suicide-attempting demographic, arguably, in Human-History.

Fundamentalist-

This word initially comes from the word fundamental, meaning something grounded, sound, pure, stable, etc. So, a fundamentalist is really a person whom functions based upon strong, sound principles. However, unfortunately, in our modern society, fundamentalist has been used, unfairly, as a euphemism for an extremist.

Pedophile-

The etymology of this word is from Latin, meaning to have a positive-affinity for children. Sadly, this word has been attributed to something very ugly & sadistic, known as child-molestation. And, it’s very sad how people have allowed an originally pleasant word like this to be horrendously transformed into meaning something so disgusting.

Vigilante-

Vigilante originally comes from the word vigil, meaning watchful, observant, protective, etc. Unfortunately, this word is now used in our society as someone whom is a lawless individual, whom is vengeance-bent.

Stay away from Backbitting & Slander!!!

Standard

Allah says in His noble book: “Oh, you who believe!!! If a Sinner comes to you with news, verify. Or else, you’ll harm people out of ignorance, then regret what you’ve done.”(Noble Qur’an: Chpt.49, V.6)

Very recently, I was given some negative-news about someone…the news was very vile, to say the least, and angered me a great deal, just because this person whom I was told about, I have an immense deal of respect, honor, trust and love for. I immediately pressed the person who told me of this heinous action, to ascertain whether what was told to me was in fact true or not. The person has yet to provide proof of action.

Even if this person was/is telling the truth, I could tell from their posture in the message sent, that they only intend to ruin this person’s reputation, publicly…this is Backbitting, when you tell something about someone, which is truthful, but, only to make them look bad (typically publicly). Now, if the person is outright lying, or doesn’t know/care whether what they’re telling me is the truth or not, then, this is Slander, when you tell something about someone, which is false & you either know it’s false, can’t prove whether it’s true or false, or just don’t care whether it’s true or false, only to make a person look bad (typically publicly).

Let us not do this…And, honestly, it doesn’t even matter whether the persons victimized by either Backbitting or Slander are Muslims or not…Backbitting/Slander is wrong to do to anyone, at anytime, or any place…point-blank, period!!! Now, as many of you may know, I, myself, have been Slandered, publicly, literally, last-year, by another Muslim, of being Homosexual, which is a Major-Sin, Islamically & religiously a big-deal.

I know, 1st-hand, the ugliness of Slander, Backbitting as well, but, especially Slander…both Backbitting & Slander are evil-acts in the sight of Allah, and those who purposely do these acts are thus cursed, and will incur the wrath of Allah, in the Mundane, as well as in the Hereafter. So, please…I beg all of you…don’t Backbite/Slander people, and ask Allah, constantly, to protect you from Backbitting/Slander…Amen

Ammar AlShukry: Fellow Poetic-Rival & Friend

Standard

Ammar pic

I’ve known this guy, since like forever…which is too-long (just-kiddin’)…HA HA HA. Anyway…what’s the best way for me to describe him? Let’s see: great Muslim bro., great literary-artist, great person to seek advice from & to vibe wit…yeah…that’s enough, for now. He has graciously-agreed to share some of his poetic ambiance onto my blogsite, which is really cool, mainly because I actually got into writing poetry again, as a result of watching him perform @the annual ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America) Convention, in 2007. When I was a lot younger, I had tried poetry, but, sucked at it, so I abandoned it. Then, years later, when I saw Ammar performing, I said to myself, “Ahhh…if he could do it, then, I can do it!!!”. When we were a lil’ younger, we would always compete against one another, but, always in a positive-way. So, when I saw him performing, I saw that he had an edge, and I couldn’t let him get away wit dat…so, upon that, I had started writing once again. However, this time, Allah placed upon me the ability to become a true literary-master & on a Human-level, Ammar AlShukry played a major-role in me exploring that.

Here’s some of his awesome poetics that he’s decided to share with us:

I met Ahmed, he was a dejected fellow,
I asked him why he was looking so mellow,
He told me, when I converted to Islam,
I was told that I was joining the brotherhood of man,
At the masjid I got hugs, felt so happy and serene,
It was the most beautiful gathering I’d ever seen,
For months they took me in, like a baby they would wean,
Then someone told me that marriage was half of my deen,
So off I went! Simple enough, when all the brothers loved me,
I felt my heart was one with my brothers, tied by the God above me,
I shyly walked up to the imam sat down and eloquently stated,
That I was doing well for myself, unattached and educated,
And ever since I accepted Islam I’ve gone through a lot,
Quite frankly this community here is now all the family I’ve got,
So I would appreciate his assistance in seeking out a better half,
Someone I could share a journey with, as well as a tear and a laugh,
His response was less warm than I had imagined in my mind,
Like he was burdened with locating someone impossible to find,
He said, “Brother Ahmed, I just want to alert you,
That this might take a while, so be easy, patience is a virtue”
I asked “How long ago was this?” Ahmed laughed and said, “BRO”
the conversation that I had with the imam was three years ago!”
I sat down next to him, wearing a painful grimace,
saying “so what was your experience, from start to finish!”
Ahmed leaned his head against the wall, to silently recollect,
And then looked at me and said, “This ummah isn’t what you expect.
Side by side and feet to feet, we may gather at a plate to eat,
but all of that will just retreat, when his daughter is why you meet,
So after meeting more than my share of parents insanely selective,
I have my own breakdown of the Ummah from a converts perspective,”
I interrupted “Hold on Ahmed” the story bringing me to focus,
“I’ll shout out the country, and you tell me your diagnosis”
“Sudan!” He said, “Yall Sudanese have it rough..
“I thought we were all black but her father said I wasn’t arab enough “
I LOLed at his jab, and then went to the next country,
“Palestine” he laughed and said, “Maybe if you have 20K for a dowry”
“What about the people of the Nile?” He said, “You wont believe it,
They asked me if I was willing to buy an apartment out in Egypt..
I approached a Pakistani family, and they were really nice,
They said, not a chance..but we hope that you make it to paradise,
There was a Somali family and they didn’t hesitate to say no,
But said if only you were a WHITE convert, you would have been a go,
There was an Indian father who I still just wanna smack,
He said, “You are Muslim now, how do I know you will never go back?”
Like any of us really know, aren’t we all quite possibly,
liable to be misguided or astray by deviance or apostasy,
Its just frustrating when you hear that, like theyre trying to say,
That Islam for them is more ingrained in their hearts, blood or DNA
When I am the one who faced my family and cultures antagonism,
To jump into an Ummah made prison, not at all what I envisioned,
His head, still resting against the wall tilted towards the sky,
“I haven’t given up on the Ummah, I just sit and wonder why?
Why is it that we can convert from our entire religion,
But all of these born muslims cant convert from tradition”

Ammar AlShukry/2013

I wonder if my angels hate me,
for being anchored by my sides,
surrounding a body where truth barely resides,
More sins, more lies,
Evil tongue and wicked eyes-
More observers than spies,
Do they wish for my demise,
Neither earth nor skies,
Nor angel ever cries,
when a soul’s oppressor dies

Rape is a Crime…no matter who does it!!!

Standard

Fayhan al Ghamdi pic

I, as a Muslim, as a Man, am truly disgusted when I hear about rape, especially referring to cases of children being assaulted. Things like rape in the Muslim-World cause Islamophobes to reinforce all of the classic Islamophobic rhetoric against Islam. We, as Muslims, have a horrible habit of making the Islamophobe’s jobs easier, by doing things that will definitely be used against us. Now, a young girl has been violently abused & killed…and, for what?!!! There is something clearly wrong here.

There is no reason as to why this person, Fayhan al-Ghamdi can just shell-out money, and walk away from such a heinous-crime, as this. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have truly done a disservice to this young girl, Lama al-Ghamdi, the actual victim/child of this monster. To add insult to injury, this person is a religious-celebrity in Saudi itself. Now, what type of message does this really send to people all around the world?

I’ll tell you:

1. It reinforces the legitimacy of of Islamophobes, anywhere/everywhere in the world, to attack Islam & Muslims, and accuse us of being Misogynists & followers of a “Misogynistic-Religion”. We always tend to make attacks against Islam & Muslims so easy for Islamophobes to do, by doing exactly the opposite of what Islam teaches us.

2. It tells people that as long as you’re in good with the Saudi-Kingdom, you can basically get away with whatever you want, and only have to cash-out, in order to avoid any form of true justice. It reinforces the hypocrisy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a 1/2-ass religious-state, where in fact, it’s nothing more than an in-house, all-boys club of a country, hell-bent on religious domination within the Muslim-World, using al-Makkah, al-Madinah, Clerics, and Petroleum as their trump-cards.

3. It sends the message of as long as we do it, it’s okay; but no one else get do it, except us. If this person had not been a religious-cleric, had not been a native subject/national of Saudi Arabia, had not been an Arab, had not been a high-profile/wealthy/powerful foreigner, then this person would definitely had been executed…ASAP And, this shows you the extremities of how ethnic/family-connections, as well as race play out when it comes to administering “justice” in Saudi Arabia.

4. It sends a clear message to even the subjects/residents of the Kingdom that justice is extremely relative. And, as we all know that, as I say this quite often, “If Justice is relative, then it’s not Justice at all…it’s Hypocrisy.”.

May Allah forgive the Muslim-World, for dropping-the-ball, in regards to allowing Rape & any/all other atrocities to occur, unchecked, in this Mundane, around the world…May Allah give Muslims/Men the integrity & strength to thwart Rape & any/all other Sexual-Offenses that exist in our world…May Allah make us of those whom stand-up for those too weak & helpless to stand-up for themselves…May Allah make us of those whom truly live by what He has sent down via revelation (the Qur’an & Prophetic-Wisdom), to be firm upon that & let it guide our lives, so that we can improve both our lives & the lives of others…May Allah make us of those whom are gentle with the innocent & harsh with the guilty…May Allah make us of those whom are treat others justly & seek-out justice for all…AMEN

The Benefits of Joy & Pain:

Standard

Joy:

Joy is exactly like a brand-new toy.

It makes you feel like a happy boy.

It reminds you that everything should be pleasant, sweet.

It’s pure bliss, which completely knocks you off your feet.

Joy allows you to bask in a most divine-gift, called providence.

It causes us to become, immediately, immersed in confidence.

The gift of joy comes directly from Allah showing us that everything isn’t bad.

We don’t always have to experience negativity in life, and be miserable or sad.

We learn from Joy that Life doesn’t have to be a constant headache.

We don’t have to live our lives thinking that we’ll never get a brake.

It’s your key to enter the gates of serenity.

So, leave anxiety behind, and live happily.

Gareth Bryant/2013

Pain:

Sharp, and unyielding…this is such a most agonizing feeling.

It leaves your body as well as your soul yelling…screaming.

It’s something which makes the spirit sour & the stomach churn.

Even though injured, you are forced to appear strong and stern.

Pain is never planned & always unexpected.

It often leaves you confused & misdirected.

You have to brace your body and soul for suffering from lacerations.

Spiritual as well as also physical hurt often cause perilous conditions.

Recovery is, commonly, just as painful as the wounds, necessary to heal.

It can take a lot of time to recuperate; memories & scars are very real.

The thing about Pain is that it reminds us, that every taste of Life ain’t sweet.

It teaches us that we’re gonna fall; but, also how we can get back on our feet.

Gareth Bryant/2013
