  38. Salam Brother, please I will like to know what are the implications of getting married to a christian woman. Not just anyone but particularly someone you came a long way with, that has always been by your side and character wise she is just ok. Your advice in this issue will definately assist. Wassalam

    • Well, in regards to marrying a Jewish or Christian woman, the same rules applies to marrying a Muslim woman. For example: She has to be someone who actually believes in whatever respective religion that they ascribe to (either Islam, Judaism, or Christianity), and actually carry out the day-to-day obligatory aspects of their respective religion, whatever they may be. Also, they must be persons of integrity, particularly & especially in matters of their sexual-orientation & sexual habits (i.e. they cannot be known to be women who are sexually-promiscuous). Then, they must agree to the fact that your children, and even children that they have from a previous marriage/relationship, must grow up as Muslims.

      • Masha Allah, thank you for your immediate response brother. May Allah (SWT) reward you for this enlightenment. Indeed for all I know about her so far, she is the God fearing type and couple of times we have discuss this issue regarding the children (Insha Allah) but she did mentioned that regardless of how available a man is at home’ kids will definately want to follow up with their mum does. For this reasons, we both are so cautious of what the future might bring.

      • Salaam,

Actually bro, in this day and age I would considered unimaginable to get a non-muslim wife. The point being: children. In a hypothetical Islamic state the children would be raised Islamically by the state if not by the father. Obviously we do not have that. Already, our children are are falling off the deen, even if they were born to Muslim parents, so playing “realpoltik”, marrying outside the faith should be a nonentity.
(You know the stupid goatmilk blog, there is actually a debate whether a Muslim women can marry a non-muslim Man!!!)

  39. A lot of whatever you claim happens to be supprisingly accurate and it makes me wonder why I hadn’t looked at this in this light previously. Your article really did switch the light on for me personally as far as this particular subject matter goes. Nevertheless at this time there is actually just one position I am not too cozy with and while I attempt to reconcile that with the main idea of the issue, let me see what the rest of the visitors have to say.Well done.
