Author’s-Note:
This, folks, is a truly sad tale. It’s the story of an individual who has indulged in something that most Human beings, regardless to how reckless, senseless, careless, would never even think of, much less actually do. However, this person, if you so choose to call him that, Qawmane Wilson, has joined an elite group of evil People, who have made it very clear that they are willing to do anything for anything.

Allah tells us within His Book, “And, revere Allah, who you request, as well as the Family-Ties. Verily, Allah is Ever-Watching over you.”.(Noble Qur;an: Chpt.4, V.1)

Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was once asked, by one of his followers, “Who is most entitled to be in my company?”…Muhammad responded, “Your mother.”…then, the questioner asked, “Who’s next?”…he replied, again, “Your mother.”…he was asked “Who’s next?”, yet again…he gave the exact same reply as before, “Your mother.”…Finally, this questioner asked, “Well, then who’s next?”…Muhammad, then, said, “Then, your father.”.(an-Nawawi)

It’s ridiculously obvious, based upon the respective Islamic sources thus mentioned, that the status of one’s mother is very high, in the Sight of Allah, the Creator/Lord of the Universe. Yet, sadly, not only has this “person” Qawmane Wilson violated the sanctity of the status of his own mother, Yolanda Holmes, by arranging her death, by having two people actually kill her, but, he actually, via social-media, boasted about being the recipient of all of this money, which he inherited, as a result of cashing-in on his dead mother’s life insurance policies as well as her bank accounts, amounting several thousands of dollars, according to Examiner.com & The Huffington Post.

This guy had the nerve to flaunt his blood-stained riches online, on his Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram pages, drawing so much attention to himself that local authorities of his native Chicago began to investigate how he got hold of so much cash so fast. This murder occurred during 2012, by the way, and basically took a whole year for this individual to finally get caught. There’s no other ways to describe this act of vileness as any less than inhumane. How is it that someone who literally could’ve died, so that you can be brought into this Mundane-Existence be so insignificant to you? How can a person, who could’ve easily aborted you, but, chose not to, carried you for 9-months, birthed you, just to be the victim of one whom she cared for her entire life.

This is very low indeed, and, this event displays some of the worst Human qualities. What’s incredibly ironic is that those who assisted Qawmane in this endeavor, who have also been arrested & identified as Eugene Spencer & Loriana Johnson also have mothers, which we (basically) all have. Now, if they’re willing to do something so disgusting, so heinous, to another Human being’s mother, there’s really no telling what they’d be capable of doing to their own mothers. In fact, I’d rather not even know or want to know. I’m just grateful that they’ve all been apprehended for this crime.

You would think that I would be concentrating on the potentiality of how they could/would potentially be sentenced. But, no, I’m more focused on the fact that they all have to meet Allah, with this type of Sin on their backs, in the Hereafter, on the Day of Standing. Because, what they’ve done is just outright Murder, killing one who has killed none. Allah clearly states, “Whoever kills one who has killed none, nor has caused corruption within the Earth, it’s just as though they’ve killed the entire Human-Race.”.(Noble Qur’an: Chpt.5, V.32) We must all take an important lesson from this: Allah has placed our parents, especially our mothers into our lives that we may honor them, not do be the cause of their destruction. We’ve really got things backwards, as People. This is something that should never happen, under any circumstances. No child should ever be responsible, either directly or indirectly, for the unjust deaths of their parents, and especially if it’s for nothing about the pursuit of money, power, and fame. nd, Muhammad (Peace be upon him) spoke about the Punishment for Murder in the Hereafter, “The first thing among human beings to be adjudicated on the Day of Judgment, will be the blood claim.”.(al-Kaba’ir/the Major-Sins)

It’s bad enough that Murder itself is a Capital-Sin/Capital-Crime, according to Islamic-Law, but, to kill one’s own parent, one’s own mother, unjustly is just indescribable as to how ugly that action truly is, displaying one of the highest form of disrespect towards one’s parents. And, disrespect of one’s parents, alone, is classified, Islamically as a Major-Sin, severely punishable within the Hereafter, as Muhammad has mentioned, “The major sins are worshipping others with Allah, showing disrespect to parents, killing a human being, and the breaking one’s oath.”.(al-Kaba’ir) So, with this being said, how much more disrespectful can someone possibly be to their own parents than being responsible for their murder? I really think that I’ve said all that can & should be said about this tragedy: a Human being, a Woman, a Mother, lost her life, that Allah gave to her & no one else, at the hands of her own child,  just because he wanted to be an online superstar.

How can Someone be so Cruel?

The Peninsula

The blistering winds, stroking dunes of the Central-Region, known as an-Najd, cause many moods…
…They have always both whistled and swirled around these monstrous sands, for so many moons.

Northward, touching all of what’s Bilad-ish-Sham…
…We can see Cave-Dwellings of Thamud and Iram.

Towards the south, towards al-Yaman…
…The forestry there looks like Heaven.

The former residence of the People of `Ad…
…Punished by Tornadoes, for they were bad.

Eastward, you’ll find thousands of miles of Oil-Fields, which fuel the economies of the whole Planet…
…Its coast is host to such rich aquatic-life; who knew this such beauty lies in such a harsh environment?

And, Westward, there’s the most priceless treasure of all…

…al-Ka`bah, where all Men come to visit, great and small.

It used to be called the valley of Bakkah…
…But, Allah decided to name it al-Makkah.

It was built entirely for His pleasure…
…No one could ever plan it better.

Constructed by Abraham & Ishmael…
…Such a wonder is their arduous tale.

A father & son, who were separated and rejoined…
…At this very spot, they established Islam, rejoiced.

Just as our parents, Adam & Eve…
…After being separated on Earth.

They lost, and then, found one another in al-Jazirah, the Peninsula…
…An example that, even in sin, we can acquire the Mercy of Allah.

There are types that irk me
Those who like to see me quiet preferably with a burqa below my knees
Those who get upset when challenged
And believe I can’t manage
Judging with the eyes
And the ears
Who are oblivious to the faint tears
Brother and sister?
More like a victim and an accuser
Behind a screen acting like you are the chooser
Of right and wrong
More like the abuser
What happened to addressing the sin of one another In private
But in fact lets not care. your kind would rather blast it?
Is this what you follow?
Because I’m telling you that’s pretty shallow
One must know that to you I’m a dark shadow
You see my movements
But not my size
Or what was god sent
So have that image of me in your head
It’s demented. And that’s what everyone said
But we make up things
And distort the pictures
And go on listening to a thousand lectures
Which in fact are useless if you don’t see the other side of the sector
So pointless are your comments but the damage is done
I’m not taking this seriously.
I’m really not.
In general this is something that is never fought.
Because we let these double standards address ourselves
And let it go because there is no talk between anyone else
I thought it was a bond when you come in defense
I guess I was wrong because clearly I’m the one with no common sense
I hate this double standard
And judgement on the side
Because near it I see hypocrisy that lies
In the hearts of the so called believers
Who possess stubbornness and act like they are deeners
I don’t know what you follow because that’s not what’s taught
Address me in the matter that the Prophet sought
I’m not a random person
That’s the opposite of what I’m endorsing
I’m your sister in a deen
So that relationship is given
So don’t think your rude comments are allowed because of a division
Because that is the exact opposite of what should be practiced in the roots of my religion

The Horrible Irking!!!

Author’s note:

Here’s another great anonymous piece, about exploitation:

“Sorry to buck the trend, my activist friend.

But your activ-isms have created schisms in my land.

Reminds us of days gone by.

As your ancestor’s ships arrived.

On our shores with the good book in hand.

We are not obliged to match the size of the garments you cast upon us.

We are not designed to conform to your fetishes S&M.

We don’t intend to bite the hand that feeds us.

But forgive us We may have lost our appetite.

A long time ago, you enter my dry windless summer.

A land for you of infinite drama intervening, hunting for the killer in the wood.

Strange that you should have such swings of mood.

Forgive me for the bitterness swirling in my spleen.

Your cash flows like our tranquil streams.

Fulfilling the wildest dreams of our real tormentors.

Our Kings and Queens Send in the troops In endless postcolonial loops.

Like Black Hawk Dawn and Apocalypse .

Now Let’s shoot some hoops in HD and together vow Death to poverty, death to crime.

Time to change the world one RT at a time.

You raise awareness?

But what of fairness?

Read, watch, click, send In an over-saturated.

Online wasteland, and millions more informed.

What if your history was deformed?

Yet still, my continent, to you is but a country.

You maliciously let the internet set the bounty.

From ABC to ICC Only because you love me.

But if you love me, why don’t you ask me what I think?

Or do you fear that I, from the fountain, shall too deeply drink?

Sorry to buck the trend, my activist friend.

But your activ-isms have created schisms in my land.

Forgive me my beloved rebellious bird.

Your voice, unshackled, deserves to be heard.

But while you explore our forbidden fruits.

Take me as an equal, from the leaves to the branch, to the trunk, to the roots.”

The Ballad of Somalia:

Aside

Steven Biko pic

Author’s note:

A Somali-Muslim sister decided to dedicate a poem, to this African leader. However, she wants to remain anonymous, which is cool with me. I do think that this poem is good, and, that she has something important to say in this particular work. So, this is also the reason as to why I am happy & proud to display her writing.

You don’t recognize us But we are the children of your fight Black and white.

I write what I like, you said. Now they do what they like; we mourn for you.

But Steve, mourn for us How handsome you were The infinite potential of youth.

Then a bludgeoned bloated corpse We don’t recognize you in those pictures Black and white.

But it was proof of what they did to you Though we were shy to see it We mourn for you.

But Steve, mourn for us Mourn the tender deal Tender and kind.

Deep in the bowels of the earth there lies our wealth And with glittering glee.

Our leaders squeal It’s mine, it’s mine Squandered with stealth Buyer and lender smile.

While the child Without books, without shoes, walks to a school without teachers Mile after mile.

With every million that divides rich and poor Mourn for us With every woman raped Mourn for us.

With each death Black and white Mourn for us How pretty we were.

The endless possibilities of a country renewed Are our bludgeons to the head

self-inflicted? …as they said yours were Bloated – but not a corpse …yet?

We have all the proof, though we are shy to see it Black and White Rest In Peace.

Mustapha Ndanusa pic

Author’s note:

Mustapha Ndanusa, Esq. is an Attorney, practicing in NYC, where he grew-up. He’s very well-versed in social-issues plaguing the Muslim, minority, and immigrant communities, all across the United States. As a result of 9/11, there have been multiple cases of individuals, both Muslim & Non-Muslim alike, whom have been killed, deported, detained, etc. & all based upon baseless pretences, exclusively conjured by the whimsical policies/agendas of the U.S. government, with the direct assistance of local, state and Federal Law-Enforcement agencies & departments. What Mustapha has written about is how to look for potential governmental red-flag, entrapping tactics, which we all need to be intelligently aware of.

Not long ago, before President Obama had him killed, Anwar Al-Awlaki was the darling of fear-mongers. Videos of him defiant against the US and US interest were played often at the height of the Awlaki hysteria. I waited anxiously for the elephant in the room to ultimately be discussed by Fox News and other even more supposedly liberal news outlets. But it never happened. The elephant went undiscussed, and now I think it was because the world simply did not know, is that Anwar Awlaki was very very popular in the Muslim households with his series on the Lives of the Prophets, the Life of the Prophets and many others.

It is unlikely, even today, that you can ask three Muslims about Awlaki’s audio classes and not find one that possesses a copy in his/her home – or at least did so at one point. I still have cassettes of his series. I mentioned Anwar Al Awlaki’s series because if one was tested with being charged with terrorism charges, no matter how minor, better pray to God that you don’t still have a dust covered copy of any Anwar Awlaki contraband in your closet.  If you do, be sure that you will be found guilty, or at least your chances of being found guilty is increased significantly.

If you doubt what I have just said about your changes of  being “gitmoed,” consider the evidentiary value of something so innocuous as “Bulugh Al-Maram” or “Riyadus Saalihin”. Bulugh Al-Maram, a book well known in the Muslim world, is a collection of Ahaadith (sing. Hadith) on Fiqh/Islamic-Jurisprudence. Another book, Riyadus Saalihin, gives samplings of Islamic beliefs, drawing from selections of Ahaadith and Quranic-verses. Having either one of these books, particularly the latter, might be dangerous contraband used to confirm a mind bent on destruction.  Contained in Riyadus Saalihin is the book of Jihad and several Ahaadith exclaiming the virtues of archery, horse riding and other acts.

In 2007, Dr. Rafeeq Sabir was convicted providing material support to terrorists. While there were many other things that were used to convict Dr. Sabir, one piece of evidence was his possession of one of the two books mentioned above.  In particular, one of the books, more than likely Riyadus Saalihin, contained passages encouraging the riding of horses and the practice of archery – the passages having been highlighted by Dr. Sabir himself. As fate would have it, Dr. Sabir owned a cross-bow and had learned to ride horse while in Saudi Arabia. Well, there you have it, if you legally own a cross-bow and dare learn to ride a horse and you are a Muslim, you are likely a terrorist in training or a terrorist already. So, what should one do?

There is no law that says you cannot own a copy of either of these two great books or that if you bought a copy of Mein Kampf you are a Nazi waiting to be awoken. One should not be worried about buying such books.  However, be smart, read the book and for God’s sake, don’t highlight anything.

Literary Legal-Advice & Awareness: What you read may get you locked-up!!!

Aside

Love!!!So important is this four-letter word.
It is something we all have heard. How often it is said, yet it is rarely meant.
It’s more important than any money spent.A lot of people use the phrase: “I love you” so spontaneously.
However, they also seem to fall in & out of Love so casually.

Is it really Love, or just merely Lust?
How can there be Love without Trust?

Is the one you claim to love in your thoughts, day & night?
Are they someone your heart yearns to hold so tight?

Perhaps you’re the one who wears their heart on their sleeve.
Or, when the going gets tough, you are the first one to leave.

These are the crucial questions you must answer yourselves.
Perhaps you have learned that your Love was never genuine.

Or, perhaps you are still in denial, keeping your hearts atop of shelves.
Maybe you’ve realized that you were a dog chasing its tail, all over again.

Some people may view others like this as being phony.
Yet, others may choose being phony over being lonely.

My thoughts on Love:
