China’s Silk-Road of Blood

Standard

img_20191128_151546_337

This is exactly why the Chinese-Government is oppressing the Uyghur-People, whom’re mostly Muslims, in XinJiang/East Turmenistan. China wants to extend its Global-Reach enomically “By Hook or by Crook”. And, Northwestern-China is literally in the Middle of the Historical Silk-Road. Because of this being the most important Juncture-Point of the Silk-Road, China is willing to bring Destruction to anyone/anything within its Path of Financial-Dominance within the World. This is coupled with the Fact that China is competing to surpass the Western-World economically. All of the Atrocities mentioned about the Chinese “Reeducation-Camps”, the Forced-Relationships governmentally imposed between Non-Muslim/Han Chinese-Men & Muslim/Uyghur-Women are 💯%-True. However, there’s still Muslim-Governments whom still allign themselves with China. And, as Voltaire once stated, “When it come to Wealth everyone is of the Same-Religion.”. I tell People all the Time, “You don’t have to be a Non-Muslim to be an Islāmophobe.”. And, the Fact that Muslim-Governments support China, in spite of these Atrocities against Fellow-Muslims thus proves this undoubtedly.

The Anatomy of Abuse/Oppression

Standard

Author’s-Note:

This Article is deemed to expose the Reality of the Non-Islāmic Nature of Abuse, via any & all Manifestations/Forms. The Focus of this Article, however, is actually Domestic-Abuse & how/why Muslims particularly, whom still either pretend that it doesn’t exists amongst us, or whom still attempt to justify it.

1. What is Abuse?

Abuse-

A Corrupt-Practice/Custom; Improper/Excessive-Treatment; Language that condemns or vilifies (usually/almost always unjustly), intemperately and angrily; Physical-Maltreatment; a Deceitful-Act.(Merriam-Webster)

Abuse is akin to the Word azh-Zhulm/Oppression.

2. What is Oppression?

Oppression-

Unjust/Cruel-Exercise of Authority/Power; a Sense of being weighed-down in: Spirit, Mind/Heart, Body, etc.(Merriam-Webster)

azh-Zhulm-

Darkness, Ignorance, Arrogance: violating the Boundaries/Rights which Allah has set forth to be respected/observed.(Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.18, V.1-6/V.32-42; an-Nawawī; Lisān-ul-`Arab: Lexicon of the Arabic-Language)

3. Who’s an Abuser/Abused?

An Abuser can be anyone, with the Capability/Potential to commit Abuse. An Abused-Person can be anyone, who doesn’t possess the Capacity/Potential, Willingness, etc. to resist Abuse.

20191107_112848

4. How/why does Abuse begin?

There’s no Direct/Explicit-Answer: what’s True/Honest is that Abuse, almost always, never has 1-Cause only but Several/Many-Causes.

5. What are the Types of Abuse?

Holistically, any/all Manifestations of Abuse fall under the Following-Categories*:

a. Spiritual-Abuse

b. Psycho-Emotional Abuse

c. Primal-Abuse

(*The Violation of Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs…See: Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs)

20191107_112828

  1. Revelatory-Texts which’re misunderstood/misinterpreted, manipulated, etc. to attempt to justify Abuse (Noble-Qur’ān: Chpt.4, V.34):

20191107_112810

  1. Revelatory-Texts which affirm/confirm the Islāmic-Prohibition of Abuse:

20191107_112746

20191107_112704-1

20191107_112633-2

Now, in spite of the Fact that these Texts clearly indicate the Prohibitory-Nature of Abuse, it still occurs amongst us. The Question is how/why.

There’s Several-Reasons as per how/why this is the Case:

a. Denial of the Reality that one is an Abuser.

b. Refusal to recognize/accept that Abuse affects the Abuse just as much as the Abused.

c. Deflection of the Pain endured by the Abuse via Abuse.

c. Blame of Abuse upon the Abused, instead of upon the Abuser.

Moment of Abuse-Truth:

1. When’s the Last-Time you were confronted with someone whom you know facing Domestic-Abuse?

2. When’s the Last-Time, if ever, that Domestic-Abuse affected you personally?

3. When’s the Last-Time that you actually helped any Person dealing with Domestic-Abuse?

4. When’s the Last-Time that you gave someone a Pass for committing Domestic-Abuse, because you’re Friends with that Person or were too afraid to confront them about it?

5. When’s the Last-Time which you’ve actually, honestly, even care about the Issue of Domestic-Abuse?

The Paris-Attacks!!!

Standard

News-Flash-
To all who think that killing and/or maiming Innocent, Non-Combatant, Civilians, in the name of Jihad, Islam, is a good thing to do, well…guess what? You’re wrong & you’re not helping Islam spread…you’re causing People to run away from Guidance, you Morons!!! Your antics are merely painting an even darker image of Islam & Muslims, all across the Globe, which is inspiring even more hatred to be fueled. Your actions don’t raise the Banner of Islam, it in fact lowers it. Your taking of Life doesn’t advance the Ummah/Nation of Muhammad (Peace be upon him), it actually shames us. So, please, for futre reference: anyone impressionable enough to join any/all of these Groups, who advocate senseless violence again Innocents, please do yourselves, and the rest of the Believers a favor…just don’t join them. Acts of Oppression are never justified by other acts of Oppression. Do we resist the onslaught of Spiritual-Perversion in our societies…yes. Do we work to make the Din/Religion of Allah supreme…yes. Do we kill anyone/everyone in the process…no.

Yasmin Mogahed’s position on the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict:

Standard

Yasmin Mogahed pic

Author’s-Note:
Yasin Mogahed’s spin on the issue takes us to a place that we ca all relate to: it sets us up & forces us to truly reflect upon the different scenarios that she presents, and how we would view them, had they been in place of the Palestinian-Israeli issue.

I used to wonder why some Palestinian people would engage in actions that could only provoke the aggressor further. Then I realized that to ask a people to live quietly, while they have no justice and no freedom, is to ask them to live “peacefully” as slaves. “Peace” without justice or freedom is slavery. It’s like asking a battered woman to live “peacefully” with her abuse. We all want the bloodshed to stop. But what about the daily humiliation and institutionalized oppression?

I was reminded of a part in “The Hunger Games” when Katniss considers abandoning the resistance against the oppressor, in exchange for “safety”. Gale’s response was telling. He said: “Safe to do what? Starve? Work like slaves? Send their kids to the reaping?”

Consider this: If a woman is being raped, things would be a lot more “peaceful” if she didn’t resist. But, asking her not to resist–just because her attacker is physically stronger–is asking her to accept her own abuse and oppression for the sake of “peace”. This is what the world is asking Palestinians to do.

And sometimes what seems to the world as just ineffective tactics, like throwing a rock at a tank, is in fact an act of resistance. It is a powerful statement to the oppressor–and the world–that they refuse to be enslaved. That dignity and self-respect are even more beloved to them than their own lives.

It is a statement that you can take their lives. But not their freedom.

What’s happening in Palestine/Israel is very simple…here’s what I call it: #HolocaustRemix

gareth-bryant-eid-pics-23.jpg

After seeing the uncensored picture of that lifeless young Palestinian boy, on that Hospital bed, with literally 1/2 of his head missing, I’ve come to the following conclusion: It doesn’t really even matter which side of the coin one favors in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict…if you’ve seen the picture that I saw & your heart doesn’t shed at least one tear, then you are 100% Inhumane. This comfortability which we have that allows us to just tolerate/accept the degradation of fellow Human beings makes me utterly ashamed to be a Human being living in the “Modern-World”…and this can’t be a modern World when there are countries just standing by while one nation is given the complete green-light to exterminate another group of Human beings: today, in front of our very eyes…we are witnessing the resurrection of the Holocaust. Only this time, the #Palestinians have been made to take the place of the Jews & other oppressed Peoples of the era, while the #Zionists have taken the place of the Nazis & Fascists.

Why are People so pathologically afraid to just admit that the Zionists are the new Nazis & Fascists, that Zionism is just the Jewish version of Christianized #Nazism & Fascism, that what’s going on in Palestine/Israel is a direct socio-political mirror-image of what #Hilter did in Europe, what Mussolini did in Africa, and what #Hirohito did in #Asia, during #WorldWarII? Let’s stop pussy-footing around this issue in the Middle-East & call it what it truly is: a Holocaust, an Apartheid, a Genocide.

Being a Muslim is no justification to support Muslims who manifest Terrorism. Likewise, being a Jew is no justification to support Jews who manifest Zionism…Zionism is no different than Nazism or Fascism.

A Brief history of Terrorism within the United States:

Standard

Newton-School-Shooting-6

I was just thinking of the following:

Whenever Islamophobes talk about “Homegrown-Terrorism/Terrorists”, they always neglect to reflect upon the history of Terrorism, within the annals of our very own American-History. I had debating with a fellow online writer/blogger (http://themuslimissue.wordpress.com/2013/05/11/loonwatch-has-been-claiming-that-94-of-all-terrorists-arent-muslim-whats-up-with-that/), because this person was making the claim that “since 1980, Muslims in the U.S. have been 35 times more likely to commit terror than all other demographics combined.”…by the way, the author of this blogpost also stated, “Reports of bombings, shootings, stabbings and even beheadings by terrorists cross the newswire each day.” he mentioned “stabbings, shootings” as acts of Terror done by Terrorists, so, by definition, Muslims can’t be 35 times more likely to commit acts of Terror, because Muslims still account for less than 10% of the U.S.-Population. So, how could it possibly be that a demographic that’s less than 10% be 35 times more likely to commit crimes against Humanity?!!!

Now, before we go further, let’s intelligently understand what exactly the word Terror, Terrorism, and Terrorist all mean, as to acquire a fair, balanced, justified, unbiased, definition of these respective words, instead of unfair/biased attribution of these terms, almost exclusively, to certain demographics, which are deemed “Un-American” and/or against the “American Way of Life”:

1. Terror (n)- intense, sharp, overmastering fear

2. Terrorism (n)- the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, especially for political purposes

3. Terrorist (n)- a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism

Courtesy of Dictionary.com

So, by virtue of these respective definitions, it’s clear to see that any act of Violence, meant exclusively to establish fear and/or an objective/motive, can (potentially) be, in fact, an act of Terror, and by that, anyone who commits acts of Violence, can, by definition, be (potentially) a Terrorist.

Now, let’s observe the history of Violence/Terrorism, within the United States, alone, just on the basis of a particular element of Violence/Terrorism:

From 1764, the Colonial-era in American-History, all the up the present-day, there have been hundreds, if not thousands of reported/unreported cases of violent-shootings, involving children, at facilities of learning: Day-Care Centers/Elementary Schools, Junior High Schools/High Schools, Colleges/Universities, etc., within our nation, this United States of America. But, there’s something very important we all must/should know: in all of these shootings, from the mid 18th-century, until now, not one Muslims was ever accused, subpoenaed, indicted, arrested, arraigned, prosecuted, tried, convicted, etc. of any School-Shootings, to date. I mean, realistically, what better way to strike Terror into the hearts of People other than School-Children, right? Now, if Muslims are 35 times more likely to commit acts of Terror/Terrorism, don’t you think that a Muslim would’ve been blamed for at least 1 School-Shooting, in the U.S.?

Good questions right?!!!

You’ve even caused those who believed you to scorn you…
…Who would’ve thought that this would be your colors true.

You condemn tyrants in other lands, but ironically, have become one yourself…
…You ordered the death of Al Awlaki without just reason, his memory shelved.

Stimulus-Package, you can have it back…
…Obamacare: that whole shit is wack!!!

You being the first Non-White President does not make you any less impressive…
…Compared to your many Presidential predecessors, you are just as oppressive.

I am not in awe of your presence, glamour or glitter…
…You don’t deserve a pass because you’re ½ Nigger.

If you really wanna help people, then stop being a puppet for the devilish, wealthy, elite…
…Supporting Monsanto: you’ve signed bills into law, to ensure their victory & our defeat.

You painted yourself with the Sheep’s wool…
…You did a great job playing us for the fool.

You’ve changed the way that Politicians lie, how our sisters & daughters cry:

Who knew that you were just the Wolf, all along…

We’re in the lands that you ordered, approved, to bomb daily…

Our children are alone, orphaned, because of the lies of the former Presidents that you still promote…
…You dare pledge, swearing, to protect the same nation you have deceived, with your arrogant gloat.

It’s very plain to see where your heart is and how it is always driven…
…You’re on a Pharaonic agenda: kill the Men & spare the Women.

However, we will not run, we are not afraid, we won’t beg for mercy, looking down the barrel of a gun…
…Our victory is from Allah, kill as many as you wish, we will be in Paradise, with our Lord, having fun.

While we’re living, we will fight and resist you, til the last Man, we don’t care if you get mad…
…We are the Muslims, unshaken & unafraid to say, live, the true meanings of the word Jihad.

We will fight you, regardless of the odds, with our smarts, and our arms…
…We will not be tricked into raising a white flag, because of your charms.

When the dust finally settles, you will not be among the Winners…
…It’s all because you’ve chosen to be on the side of the Sinners.

The Recent Attacks in different countries Worldwide:

Standard

kenya hostage pic

Learning about the recent violent attacks in both Kenya & Pakistan, as well as other nations, are always sad constantly constantly to hear about, or to constantly read about, or to constantly watch on T.V. It still reminds us all that senseless-violence, regardless to whomever commits it, whomever teaches to indulge in it, whomever supports it funds it, either overtly (publicly) or covertly (behind the shadows)…

…And, it’s truly bad enough that these attacks are common-place. But, then, to add insult-too-injury, there are people whom are either masking themselves as Muslims, or are Muslims whom are so misdirected, truly believing that taking the lives of those whom have not harmed you at all are religiously-justified, when there are so many/too many examples, from the Qur’an (Chpt.5, V.32) & Prophetic-Tradition (an-Nawawi), itself, which openly-condemns unjustifiable/unnecessary violence towards anyone or anything…

…As a Muslim, it’s truly heartbreaking, if/when someone actually asks you, “Why do your people attack us?!!!”, “Why did your people take down the Towers?!!!”, “Why do you wanna kill us?!!!”, “Why do you hate us?!!!”. It may seem trivial to some, especially those whom are Non-muslims. But, for us, as Muslims, these types of questions, whether someone is mere jokin’-around (which really aren’t jokes, because to say this to someone really isn’t even funny, even though people do it, thinkin’ that it’s funny), this is a really big-deal…

…For someone to compare you with violence is never a badge-of-honor: It’s just like if people were to compare every Italian/Italian-American with Mafia figures, which are portrayed in entertainment, that would be very degrading, no?!!! Of course, it would, and people, knowing how degrading something like that would be, for any demographic, either religious, ethnic, social, political, etc., would never go there…

…Sadly, though, it’s like there an unwritten no-holds-barred free-for-all, open-season approach, when it comes to Muslims, as an entire global demographic, being (very) harshly discredited, because of the actions of so few people. Bt, that’s just the way things are, I guess; yet, that doesn’t make it right: I don’t wanna look over my shoulder, for the rest of my life, as a Muslim (may Allah keep me a Muslim), compelled to worry that I may be monitored, just because I pray 5-times daily, or because I have a beard, or because I’ve been t Saudi Arabia, for Pilgrimage, an elementary religious duty, for all Muslims, just because of some attack, that I now have to always assume that it will be the Muslims whom are blamed for it, whether or not any Muslim even did it…

…Always on the edge, always paranoid, isn’t good, for anyone, it makes people doubt their own faith/beliefs, it causes division among communities: Hell…it even encourages people to be even more extreme & actually do more acts of violence, out of frustration, anxiety, etc. This has to stop…on all-ends…

…Muslims must truly learn what Islam is & what it’s not. Those whom are Non-Muslims need to learn Islam from Muslims, where they actually are in the World, as opposed to turning on the T.V., to watch Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Bill Maher, Sean Hannity, Daniel Pipes, Pamela Geller, etc….

…But, in the meantime: Please, ask Allah to makes things easy for the surviving victims of the recent attacks in #Kenya, as well as #Pakistan…May Allah soften the hearts of the people, and turn them away from senseless-violence…Amen

The Clearing of the Smoke, after the Boston & Waco blasts: Trying to make sense of it all

Standard

Boston-Bombing pic

Author’s note:

Rabiah Kas`id is someone with a sound-mind & a kind-heart. He’s someone whom I’ve known for a very long time, I’d say, about a decade, at least. He has grown, into a person of great knowledge, wisdom, understanding, about Islam, as well as the world around him. Here’s some of the elements of his positive-qualities, which I’ve just mentioned before, in a simple, yet powerful, and enlightening write-up, concerning the recent tragedy, known as the Boston-Bombings.

The Arabic word fadl is mentioned in supplications in the context of referring to Allah’s grace and favor.

The literal meaning of the word fadl is “surplus”. It is used to describe something that is given without any payment in return.

When we say something is “fadl from Allah”, we mean it is given by Allah without being deserved by the receiving party. Allah gives us rewards for our good deeds and increases our blessings and providence purely out of His generosity, magnanimity, and grace.

When we ask our Lord for His grace or favor (fadl), we are asking Him to give us something even though we do not deserve it. It is our recognition that what Allah gives us is out of Allah’s generosity and from His favor.

Allah says: “And if Allah had destroyed men for their iniquity, He would not leave on the earth a single creature” [Sûrah al-Nahl: 61]

A reflection on the Boston Marathon Event:

Anyone else was hoping that the people involved were white and not Muslim. We all know the reaction then would have been to refer to it as a lone wolf as opposed the act of a group of people/Deen and that another Muslim land couldn’t possibly be in the crossfire in the near future, as was Iraq and Afghanistan. Also there is the likelihood of additional of domestic policies and actions that infringe on the basic lives of others similar to that of a decade ago and counting. So that could include an increase of already existing scaled surveillance and profiling of Muslims. There will also likely be additions to matters such as the patriot act, and an increase in in funding of related federal agencies  which will both curb civil liberties further. Immigration reforms are also to be affected if they turn out to be immigrants even if they happened to be legalized.

If not then there is public image involved, although if 9/11 is any indication some people will still examine Islam fairly and may even be more eager because of the new focused attention. The brothers and sisters who may have not been the most practicing would be included in that regard of also examining and better embracing their Deen to be better examples in the public eyes.

Finally, it only fair to at least bring up the West Texas fertilizer plant explosion. This is so as more people died and were injured there and the collateral damage was so severe that some people lost their homes and school there just opened today (April 22, days after the incident) yet it got much less coverage. How unbalanced can mainstream news be to not at least give this event the same coverage as the Boston marathon event?

A Story of Islamophobia: Bias, Fear, and Injustice

Standard

Author’s note:
This is the story of someone whom I know personally, whom was a victim of malicious, immoral, unethical, and illegal, Islamophobia, just because they were Muslim, had an Arabic name, came from, ancestrally, from a part of the Muslim-World, and, because they were neither a U.S.-citizen, nor a citizen of their respective native-land.

This is what was told to me:

“I was traveling to visit one of my relatives; I really don’t like to take for granted the freedom and the respect I have been enjoying since I came to America. But this weekend, I have felt very humiliated and mistreated by authorities in both the nation in which I was in, as well as the US. When I arrived in the country my relative lives, the authorities denied entry in the country: they said that I did not have a passport. I’ve used American travel-documents, which is issued for refugees without citizenship, on more than one occasion, and had no previous issues, traveling to places outside of the U.S., prior to this incident; likewise, I had went to this particular country, last year, using these same travel-documents, without any problems.

They took seized my travel-documents, and also my green-card, after they denied me entry. I told them that if they are not going to allow me in, then at least just allow me to return to the U.S.. But, these guys weren’t trying to listen to me, at all-they really started treating me like I was nothing but piece of garbage, which disturbed me greatly. They thought I had no government that defends my rights, which is true-I do not have citizenship to any country yet. I am holding neither US passport nor any other national-passport. The authorities had told me that, if I had at least had a passport along with my U.S. travel-documents, then I could’ve been allowed to stay.

So, here I am, on a plane going directly back to where I had came from, heading back to America. However, there’s a lot more this-it does not just end, here. When I had boarded my flight back to the U.S.,  my green-card and travel-documents weren’t even returned to me, they were given, instead, to the airline & I was told that I’ll get everything back once I land in the U.S., and this is where frustration & anger started to really kick-in: I had told them that they had no right to keep my documents & property away from me and that I’m leaving this country. They said no, you can’t have it back. I felt so humiliated and realized how weak and unfortunate I am.

When I arrived back into the U.S., the airline gave me back my documents. When I checked in, a U.S. Customs & Border Protection officer took my fingerprints, and then, forwarded me to another officer who then further inspected me. He started to ask me why I went to the country I had just came from, where did I get travel-money from…he started an argument, with me, about my recent trip. He said, ‘You were re-admitted last January and now, again, you are traveling?’…’Who helps you?’. I told him I that I have jobs to support myself. He then asked how much I am paid an hour…he then took away my wallet and checked everything it, asking me about how I got my credit cards. He asked me to open my suitcase and to take everything I had out of it. He then took away my backpack and opened my iPad, a binder, and some letters in it, this was a blatant invasion of my privacy. When I asked why is this even necessary, he told me I am not a US citizen, so I am subjected inspection.

After that, then in the checking area, two guys took me away to a room, after I was fully checked with an x-ray machine. They did a full pat-down on me, touching every part of my body. Then, another guy took my backpacks and coat for further inspection, itt was so stressful. I just wish that I did not have to undergo all of these troubles simply that I have a name which starts ‘Abu’ or that I am an immigrant, or tourist from a country that’s viewed negatively, by the U.S., and her allies. This year, I had about 4 trips on my schedule, but I am going to call off all of them. I just don’t want to undergo what I have went through this weekend.”

Anonymous

So, upon learning of this, I had immediately, told the person who told me their story, to inform CAIR/Council on American Islamic Relations, and I specifically gave them the contact-info. of the CAIR-NY Director, Muneer Awad. Sadly, this person was just too afraid to come forward & share their story. I even assured this person that the details of their story would be honored as anonymous, that they wouldn’t be required to give their name, rather, just their statement. But, alas, they even refused that, because they were so shaken-up & fearful that if they were to say anything that they wouldn’t be able to stay/live here (in the U.S.), any longer, that they’d lose their financial-aid status & may even get kicked-out of school, get deported to their respective land of origin (even though they either never grew-up there, never been there & were only born there), detained, tortured, killed, etc.

All of this is so deeply disturbing, how our government, as well as governments like ours deems it okay to intimidate persons, just because they’re Muslims, immigrants, residents/illegals, as opposed to full-fledged citizens, etc. But, at the end of the day, these are still the lives of Human beings, and as such we all, regardless of subjective national, state, or local, religious or secular, laws, are entitled to basic Human-Rights of the following: life, dignity, property. And, unfortunately, at least two out of these three were severely violated, to the extent that this person was made to feel as though their status as a Human being had absolutely no value.

This is not how things are supposed to be: I should never have to walk the streets in fear (of being detained, deported, arrested, beaten-up/having to beat someone up, being killed/having to kill someone, etc.), just because I’m a Muslim, or an undocumented-immigrant, a resident, a Non-English speaker, Non-European/White person. This story really affected my heart, mainly because I know how it feels to be harassed by authorities; but, also because at least with me (someone who was born here/a U.S.-citizen), I know certain important elements of the law, which can protect me from most things, pretty much; but, with people like this person, by virtue of the fact that they are not at least citizens, they’re made to be “easy-pickin’s”, or “fair-game”, of predatorial Islamophobes & Xenophobes, whether they’re as micro as a Dunkin’ Donuts employee/Manager, refusing to serve you, or as macro as the President of the United States of America, who orders/co-signs drone-strikes, or religious/ethnic round-ups against its own citizenry.
